A Little Bit About Me
I am a french civil servant of algerian descent. Born and educated in France, I am currently a manager in my city charity center. I have a steady job and my wage is enough to make me happy. Material aspects of life don’t really matter to me, what really matters is what money can’t buy. I am legally separated and have been through rough times. I have two lovely daughters, aged 8 and 13, who live with their mom. I deeply love them and will always be there for them.
It is always hard to depict oneself. I should say that I am a simple guy who’s yearning for a simple life resting on stability and moral values. I am a religious person who practices religious sincerely and rationally. In the Koran, Allah addresses man as a rational person who possesses intelligence. To me, religion is all about sincerity towards Allah, yourself and humanity. Islam consists in doing good whenever we have the opportunity to do so. As a matter of fact, I think it important to have good relationships with non muslim people. Moreover, getting to know a revert woman is okay since I mainly pay attention to what she really is, regardless of her origins or social background. Though both my parents are Algerians, I think that my way of thinking is deeply influenced by western values, especially french ones. Thank Allah, I have succeeded in keeping what is best in both cultures, western and Algerian.
If I had to put forward some personal features, I’d say that I like travelling, reading, doing some sports, especially badminton. I like debating, discovering about other peoples’ culture and lifestyle. Like I said, I have a steady job, but I don’t mind moving, even far away, to find the one I am looking for. Those late years of marriage have given me a strong experience and a clear idea of what I want : I have no time waste, but still, I want to take my time because we are talking about serious matters.

What I Am Looking For
Harmony, calm, respect, truthfulness and sincerity.
Of course, I am looking for a religious who has a rational, reasonable and genuine relationship to her “deen”. Persons whom I’d like to be acquainted with should value family ties and respect towards parents, hers and mine. Sincere relationship to Allah should generate a sound implementation of religion in every aspects of life. I deeply dislike liars, people wasting their time envying others, fighting over petty things and fostering conflict between family members. A good-hearted person who knows what really matters is the key to happiness. Allah has created man weak constantly facing the hardships of life, so we need not make things worse than they are. Carpe diem, love people around you and make them happy is the key for a successful life and marriage.
Happiness isn’t related to money. I have a steady job which enables me – al hamdoulilah – to lead a decent life. The partner I am looking for should be able to bring peace at home, always. Fights shouldn’t be the rule, but the exception. Dialogue should always prevail and respect sustain our relationship. I would like someone whom I can talk to, who can excite my intellectual curiosity. A smart woman aware of the world she lives in is obviously a plus. I am ready to adapt, to make effort to understand her own world, get interested in what she likes provided it goes both ways.
As you may have noticed, I am fluent in English. Living abroad doesn’t frighten me. What really matters is to find a sincere, kind and honest partner. I am a patient man who’s aware of his own flaws too. I am ready to accept my partners’ children as I have mine too. Needless to say that I love kids.
